International Teacher Scholarships

As of January 2018, two scholarships will be awarded each term to certified Iyengar teachers living outside Australia to participate in our Teacher Development Program. Each scholarship includes full fee support.

1. Scholarship A: for Certified Iyengar Teachers. Click for the Scholarship A Timetable

Scholarship A is linked to our Professional Development for certified teacher Program and is focused on teachers wishing to develop their practice and teaching skills whilst Scholarship B holds a focus for teacher trainers and more senior teachers to work alongside Alan Goode.

The scholarship includes

• 11-days of intensive study in Canberra at the Institute. Dates are noted below and are available on the Institute’s website.
• Enrolment in Online study-Certified teacher for the 10 week term of the scholarship.
• Use of the school bicycle throughout your stay in Canberra
• All scholarship recipients will be allocated a mentor from the teaching staff at Yoga Mandir whilst Scholarship B recipients will work directly alongside Alan Goode as he works with Teacher trainees.

Successful applicants must provide

• Own travel
• Accommodation whilst in Australia
• Any relevant visa requirements
