Training Weeks. November 2018

In the middle 2 weeks of each term (weeks 5 & 6) our training programs are conducted for teachers from around Australia and internationally.
The training weeks represent a focused period of practice and study for the Yoga Mandir community. The influx of teacher trainees and experienced teachers who interact with one another bring enthusiasm and diversity into our region. Students of the Institute can participate in the 2-week early morning intensive whilst prospective applicants for teacher training can come to experience the structures and routines of a trainee’s life before committing to the process.

Summer of Yoga Intensives

The highlight of our Summer of Yoga program is our 3, week-long Antaraya intensives. The intensives run Monday to Friday from the 14 January through to the 1 February, with classes in the early morning and evening. Each week explores a different level from the Yoga Mandir syllabus and the focus of these intensives is the Antarayas (obstacles to practice).
Local and interstate students can enrol for one or more intensives with some students attending all three weeks. This is undoubtedly a great way to commence the new year.
