Jenny Devlin

Jenny first fell in love with Iyengar yoga as a young university student in 1995. Today, more than 20 years on, Jenny continues to be intrigued by the subject of yoga. Over that time, the practice has provided the delight of physical play, the solace of healing and rest, and the sustaining wisdom of compassionate awareness.

Jenny taught regular yoga classes in Japan while studying a Masters in Peace Studies on a Rotary World Peace Fellowship. During her two pregnancies, she taught Pregnancy Stretch classes in Darwin. Jenny has also co-facilitated several community yoga retreats for women. In December 2004, she participated in an intensive in Pune taught by Mr BKS Iyengar and his daughter Geeta.

Off the mat, Jenny works as a practitioner, trainer, supervisor and life coach in the field of Conflict Transformation, including Mediation, Conflict Resolution, Family Dispute Resolution, Compassionate Communication and Restorative Practice.

Jenny moved to Canberra in 2015 and was very grateful to be able to study with Alan Goode again. She began as a Led Practice Leader in 2017. She is now in her second year as a Teacher Trainee. Jenny teaches in the Early Morning Dynamic class program.
